The MG HS is a large family SUV at small family SUV money, with a long warranty attached.
The HS is bigger inside than most cars at its price, and generously equipped — heated leather and a large screen are common even on mid trims. It is the sensible-value option in a class full of expensive badges.
The 1.5 turbo petrol is the standard car. The plug-in hybrid is worth seeking out if you can charge at home and want the company-car tax saving, though it commands a premium used.
