The Puma is the best-driving small SUV on sale, and the boot has a trick that no rival matches.
Ford put Fiesta handling into a raised body and it works: it is genuinely enjoyable on a back road, which almost nothing in this class is. The MegaBox under the boot floor is deep enough to stand plants in.
The 1.0 EcoBoost mild hybrid is the standard engine and is fine. ST-Line adds the sharper looks and firmer suspension. The full ST is a proper hot hatch on stilts if you find one.
