What documents do I need to sell my car?

Here's what you'll need to bring to your appointment:

• V5C logbook (the car's registration document) with your name on it as the registered keeper
• MOT certificate (if your car is over 3 years old)
• Service history (if you have it - really helps with the valuation)
• All keys, including any spares
• Photo ID (driving licence or passport)
• Proof of address (bank statement or utility bill from the last 3 months)
• User manual and any accessories that came with the car (locking wheel nut key, memory cards, etc.)
• Finance settlement letter (if you still have outstanding finance - we'll cover this below)
