NEW BMW M4 HERITAGE EDITION

Sep 17, 2019 | Motoring News | 0 comments

The UK is about to see one of the rarest M4 special editions to date!

Now on sale, the Heritage Edition is based on the M4 DTM touring car and is available in three ‘individual’ BMW colours – Laguna Seca Blue, Velvet Blue metallic and Imola Red. These replicate the three colours in the BMW’s M logo.

The M4’s carbon-fibre reinforced plastic roof also features the BMW M stripes, while the Heritage Edition lso comes with the lightweight 20 inch alloy wheels.

Gorgeous bicolour leather bucket seats are shown in the cabin, with each seat colour being oriented to the paint of the car and coming with contrasting stitching. Carbon fibre cabin trim is also exclusive to these Heritage Edition versions. Plaques and embossed seats helps to explain this isn’t a standard M4.

Under the bonnet it uses the same 444bhp 3.0-litre straight-six petrol engine as the M4 Competition – allowing for a sprint to 60mph of 4.1 seconds and a top speed limited to 155mph.

Although BMW hasn’t confirmed prices for the M4 Heritage Edition yet, it’s certain to say it’s going to be a lot more expensive than the normal M4 Compeition, which costs from around £65,300. First deliveries are expected from November, with the models production run lasting until April 2020.
